Our Goals

If you are having difficulty meeting the basic needs for your family, or yourself, your local food shelf is there to help you.

The Steele County Food Shelf Exists To:

• Provide food to the hungry
• Promote Self Sufficiency
• Coordinate with other poverty and hunger related services.

It Is Our Goal

• To provide service in a friendly and non-judgmental environment.
• To establish personal rapport between people who use the food shelf and those who support it.
• To learn how we can better serve the people who use the food shelf.
• To work together to find ways to improve the conditions that force people to use the food shelf.
